New Sailwave version 2.9.7: Is it a portable app like 2.9.5?

Does Version 2.9.7 act as a portable version for installation on a thumb drive like 2.9.5? Or was 2.9.5 unique?

Hi Michael,

Yes 2.9.7 will work as a portable app - It is on my list to do i.e. post a zip with 2.9.7 - Just to many things to do and not enough time. (Think I need to retire! - could easily spend all day every day on Sailwave!!)) Basically if you download and install the 2.9.7 installer on a machine you could copy the files out of it to a USB memory stick.

Version 2.9.7 is now available on the Sailwave site as a portable app for use on a USB memory stick or external hard drive
