Hi,
As agreed I have dumped the E% and C% published race columns and replaced
them with "-EWin" and "Rwin". These columns are published when you tick
"Include statistics" in the race section box when publishing a
series/race-results.
To review. -Ewin is the change in your elapsed time needed to win (actually
to tie with the winner). Rwin is the rating you needed to win (tie).
Average lap contexts where boats sailed a different number of laps are
handled OK.
Attached is an example from a long distance race chosen completely at random
Another change in this build (1.43 BETA2) is to allow the use of race
distances AND allow competitors to sail different numbers of laps. In this
scenario the race distance is treated as a lap distance. Useful if you want
average speeds when doing average lap racing around the cans.
Will try to upload tonight (Fri/GMT).
NB: if you do the maths on a calculator to test things in a mixed laps
scenario you'll see errors of a few seconds. I know how to sort this out
and will do ASAP.
