I am new to sailwave and now responsible for scoring yachts racing at our club. We run events where boats can fly spinnakers and also Thursday night White Sail races.
For example when an IOD races with its Spinnaker it’s PHRF rating is 150 and White Sail it’s PHRF rating is 162. This goes on for the whole fleet.
What is the best way to build a database of the boats and ratings that this is easy to score.
Thanks in advance.
Hi
I think the easiest is to use the feature “Wind Indexed Ratings” (Enable it under Setup / User Interface). It gives you the possibility to have more than one rating per boats, eg one with spinnaker and one without. Under every start in every race you then decide which rating type should be used for the given start and race.
See the pictures below, where I have the possibility to choose between 7 different windrelated ratings.
