New user

I have downloaded sailwave OK. Is there a procedure(user manual) in the best/correct way of setting up and using Sailwave please?
I had been using Sail100 but have found it very difficult and tedious to use.

We would like to use Sailwave at the Club in the timekeepers box which is quite bright, what notebook should we buy display-wise?

Cheers,

Hi Geoff,

The only documentation to date is the FAQ - which is itself a little out of date.

In general you use the Edit menu to set-up the venue/event details, the scoring system details, then (or before) enter the competitors and score the series. Have a fiddle and post specific queries to the group.

Series with the same series can be created using File+SaveAs. You can import from CSV files to get the initial competitor list.

Regards,

Colin

Hi Geoff,

Further to what David posted, you can export Excel spreadsheets as CSV files. CSV is the most common application-independent interface - most apps can export/import as CSV.
