New version release

I’ve updated to the latest version of sailwave for todays results. Seems a little slower and I had to keep saving it after each step.

I’m trying to publish the results but I get a note across the top of screen ’ sailwave not responding’

Is it me or is anyone else encountering the same.

Yes, the same for me. Slower to open a file, and then when trying to publish nothing happens for a long time. Eventually I try to close the file, get Not Responding, that goes on for ever, then have to allow Sailwave to close.

Using Chrome and Windows 10, the latter following a major update just now. Sample file attached, but it is the same for all my recent filed.

Have gone back to the previous version for now, hope you can fix easily.

I have also just updated to the lasted version as prompted and I agree its very slow keeps buffering before accepting entered data and it also says not responding when trying to publish todays results wish I hadnt upgraded

Hi Apologies. It appears the installer picked up the wrong sailwave.exe when it built the installer (Not the one I have been using and tested).

This has been corrected and if you download it now it should be fine.

or just replace the .exe with this one - which ever you find easiest

Do I just go onto the sailwave site and re download the file ?

Tomorrow morning I’ll sort it. Too late to crank the machine up and start messing about !

Jon,

I started using this version some months ago when i was getting issues to do with Highlighting.

I realise that the.exe file may not have changed since then but do i need to update any of the other supporting files please?

There are no major changes if you already have 2.23.4 running - but it won’t hurt to run the new installer and you will also get the shortcuts to the sailwave data installed.

I’ve been trying to find time to update the installer for this version. I wanted to get this version out to everyone before I start the next set of changes - Jon
