NHC and publishing next handicap

We are using the new RYA NHC for our club racing that started the other day.
Is there any way to get the handicap that will be used for the next race to be displayed with the race that has just been completed?
I can see it in the series scoring in sailwave if you change the display to show "Race Ratings", but I can't see any option to display it as part of the individual race results.
The value for BCR seems to be similar to the HNC achieved handicap but based on what a boat would need to perform to be equal first, rather than equal average. But neither of these are the new handicap to be used for the next race

Steve

Hi Steve,

The Handicaps for the next race are associated with the records for the next race - sorry if that sounds obvious so:-

A simple way is to publish just the individual race table for the next race even though it has not run yet and this will print a table with all the ratings for the next race.

As you said, also pressing F6 and R displays all the ratings and you can publish this to see all the ratings including the next race

Just for interest which club are you from?

Publishing the next race sort of works as a work around. However, it only
produces anything if you select the option to include DNC results.
Otherwise no boats are included since technically they are all currently
DNC for the next race

It would be a useful option if you could display the next race handicap in
a column the way you can currently display BCR

My club is Carrickfergus Sailing Club on Belfast Lough, Northern Ireland

Thanks

Hi Steve,

Sorry I should have mentioned that you do have to tick the include DNC for them. When I’m next working on that area of code I’ll see if I can include an option to print it - although it is not a very easy modification. Or I may add a option to print it with the SWClist program included with the latest Sailwave
