I think I have read somewhere, or perhaps it was something Bas said at a talk, that NHC boats should start next year’s season on the NHC TCF with which they finished last year. This seems eminently sensible but I can’t find it documented anywhere.
The reason I ask is that we have some doubters in my club who want to start again from the base number but it seems illogical to me to, in effect, throw away accumulated statistics on past performance.
So can anyone point me at the documentation, please. Or failing that, what do other clubs do?
Thanks
Hi Richard,
You are correct, It in fact applies to each series not just the year. So if you have a Spring, Summer and Autumn series then Spring gets transferred to Summer and Summer to Autumn. Then last years Autumn will become next years Spring.
As to where it is documented - that is a good question.
