Dear Colin Jenkins

I´m using sailwave very well with regattas in Uruguay South America.

I have two suggestions

In Sail Num Wizard is it possible to put a button with fill the rest with a code like “DNF” or else???.

One race with 80 competitors 10 arrives and 70 out of time, I like to put them “DNF” not “DNC” It´s the same in points but quite diferent.

Second

To publish in the results the race comettee and the scorekepper

Found in other softwares, more efective, a button “validate”

Then a list of competitors with no finish time/elapsed time/finishing order is displayed, with actions “( ) all these competitors” or “( ) selected competitors” set as “( ) DNC” “( ) DNS” " ( ) DNF" “( ) DSQ” (think also about including home-defined codes, it will solve the problem of boats still racing)

Variant, a table of competitors with in the header the codes and a “set all as…” button or tick box, in first column the list of boats with no finish and a tick box in al cells of the table body, so you can set al as DNF then alter some as DNC, DNF

Further there are codes to set for boats with a finish recorded (OCS, DSQ), sometimes arriving as a bulk list, so add a tick box “Show all competitors” and display the other boats and these codes…

Another suggestion for the Wizard: Keep the 'New [Competitor]' button
active all the time.

Presently, if you type-in a new, unrecognized sail number, then the
New button appears. However, if the new sail number is a portion of an
existing sail number (e.g., 474 is new, and 47450 already exists),
then the button does not appear and there is no other way to create it
on the fly.
