Officer of the Day

Hi:

Like a lot of clubs in the area to get ROs for the club race we have each of the competitors act as the race officer for a day of racing. The concept is that they would be scored RDGa (actually created a code OOD with the properties of RDGa). The issue is that this gives the OOD a place…and bumps the other competitors scores. Is there a way to prevent this affecting other competitors scores.

Thanks

Hi Keith,

Short answer yes.

I notice you say you have created a code OOD. Which version of

Sailwave are you using because that code is one of the default
codes in the latest version of Sailwave version 2-28-1?

Anyway to answer you question, open Scoring system, click on

codes tab. Now edit your OOD code and in the window click on the
Methods tab. Now check the box beside “This is a code where RuleA
6.2 applies…”.

If you are still having problems, please reply attaching your

Sailwave .BLW file.

Kind regards,

Huw
