Page break code

I’d like to get rid of this fragment of code that shows up in each
published results page. It adds unnecessary white page at the head
of each scored class.

<style>
div.applicant-break {page-break-after:always;}
</style
>
I was thinking that this could be done somewhere in the Template system, but I confess that I find that whole system incomprehensible.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

John,

I never use this so you'll have to create some results to test this but
I believe it is under "Publish|What to publish tab" - uncheck "Add a
page breaks" and hopefully the code won't be generated when you publish.

Hi John - I would like to understand a bit more about your issue. I print with page breaks enabled at most events and don’t have an issue with any extra white space. Could you send me a sample of the output e.g. save to file and send me the htm file produced.

Could you confirm if you see this white space only on the printed version? and also which version of Sailwave you are using.

I use Firefox for printing my output. What are you using? and also if you are not using Firefox could you try Firefox and let me know if when printed with Firefox if you still have and issue.

Hi Jon,

I played around with this last night using some HTML diagnostics. I’m now thinking it’s because one of my logos is quite high, so the white space comes from the full width in the table header lines. I’ll maybe reduce the logo size and see if that helps. Otherwise I’ll send the SW file and you can advise. Using Firefox. Not ticking box in Publish.

Did I mention we love the software? Got 15 kn and sunshine today. Life is good!

Thanks,

jrc

Hi Graham - The best way if you have lot the password for the server is to reset the password on the server.

If you are really stuck give me a call. I’ll be in St Mawes this weekend

If you have access to the old computer, go to Help|EditRegistrySettings , note ftpuser and ftppass in the options branch of the tree. On the new computer use the Edit button in the same place to set the strings you noted.
