This seems like an obvious question but I haven't been able to find
the answer: How do we set up sailwave to cope with non-integer laps?
i.e. for small inland waters and handicap fleets where the race starts
from a boat but finishes past the clubhouse. I would like to put a
part lap distance into the race details (as well as the full lap
distance) but being able to enter nLaps as 6.275 would do.
I am evaluating the software for Yeadon Sailing Club (Yorkshire) and
apart from this problem it is very good.

Enter the number of laps as 6175, Sailwave should then calculate the average lap time for this number of laps,

Thanks Geoff. I suppose that might have to do (I had tried something
like that before and it did work) however Yeadon is quite small so 11
laps is quite feasible, there is a limit of 0-999 on the number of
laps so our accuracy will only be to one decimal place. In practice I
doubt the locations of the marks are to much greater precision than
this!
Enter the number of laps as 6175, Sailwave should then calculate the
average lap time for this number of laps,

Hi Patrick,
It's on the dev plan and will be available soon. Workaround as suggested by Geoff.
