Am looking to try a new system next year for person handicaps, it would read;
Personal PY= current PY + (your finishing position in the previous race -1)
Curious how the best way of implementing this into Sailwave is. My experience with PYs while using a rating file is that it will only use what ever is in the rating file and this

Hi Matt,
Fundamentally you need to change the rating in the Edit result for the next race
You could do this manually but if you want to automate it then you will have to create an excel template and use the NHC rating with a custom template.
Experiment with the NHC and make sure you understand how this works and then you can modify the template to use your algorithm
