Our club is looking into switching from PHRF TOD (time on distance to
PHRF TOT (time on time) does anybody know if sailwave can score in
either format so we can evaluate the differences?

Jud,
In Edit+ScoringSystem select PHRF TOT and rescore. Change between TOT and
TOD as you like as long as you rescore afterwards. Note that TOD requires
the distances in the races whereas they are ignoed for TOT.

Haven't used it but Sailwave does support Time on Time and Time on Distance.
You need to fill out the A and B boxes, not sure what you put in them.....

between PHF Tod and TOT adn the corrected results did not change. Am
I missing something? when I changed the distance under TOT the
recored results changed. I did not think that TOT used distance. Do
I need to delete all distacnes?

Did you rescore the series? Whenever you change something in the scoring
system you have to rescore the series to see the effects of the change. You
do not need to remove the distances; rating systems that don't need race
distances just ignore them.
