PHRFTOT

Just wanted to let you know that the helpfile descriptions for the
PHRFTOT and PHRFTOD are reversed and should be put under the correct
headings.

Great product. We are evaluating for an upcoming racing week
regatta and so far it looks like our club will soon be a new partner.

I am interested in knowing what most clubs are using in the A and B
fields and whether B is usually fixed at 550 for Average conditions
or if race managers actually adjust this for heavy and light air (ie
480 and 650). I have set the A & B factors to the defaults
suggested by Sailwave for now, but would appreciate knowing if a
standard is being set for this type of scoring. Thanks

I noticed in an earlier email from Colin that he mentioned data
colection via pocket PC and then importing these into sailwave. I was
just wondering whether there is already a product that can be loaded
onto a pocket PC for this purpose or whether you were simply using
Excel on the pocket PC for this.

Regards
Terry

Thanks very much for considering becomming a Sailwave partner.

I'm not really sure to be honest; I don't kno much about PHRF really. Have
you had a look at the US Sailing PHRF page - it has some notes and may
provide the answers you are looking for...
