PitStop

Hi. Problem: A series has 2 races with Pitstop for 3 hours before the start of 2. regatta.I 2. Regatta boats will start 3 hours after his in the first start. All the boats will start with individually start times. ): Finish time in race 1 + 3 hour pit stop = start time in race 2. Can Sailwave resolve this?

Folks

I followed up on the reference to Spray Easy Timer from previous group emails.

Does anyone have any practical experience? I have had trouble getting it to work.

Rob

Hi Rob,

I have struggled to get competitor details to load into Spraytimer from the sailwave XML file. This is a really important feature as the chance of duplicating competitors in a series is high.

Hi Rob and Phil,

This is a problem that I am going to investigate as soon as possible, hopefully this week. I believe the issues are related to importing classes that aren't defined in Spray. Currently, Spray won't display boats of a class that it doesn't recognise. I intend to fix that this week by making Spray add classes it finds that aren't already in its list. This will be an interim version (version 1.0.2).

For information, version 2.0 is also under development.

Thanks for your patience, I will email you as soon as this fix is available.

********* Spray EasyTimer v1.0.2 can now be downloaded from the Spray EasyTimer website: http://SprayEasyTimer.webs.com.

This fixes the issue you used to get if you import Sailwave XML with classes that weren't defined in Spray. Spray will now automatically create classes in its own list if it finds ones that don't already exist.
