Points for a tied position in a race

We had a race where 2 boats finished on the same corrected time. They came 2nd
and Sailwave gave them both 2 points. As far as i can see from the ISAF sailing
rules they should have been given 2.5 points.
We are using the long series scoring method but i dont think that affects what
should happen with tied results.
Does anyone have any comment on this? Is it a bug in Sailwave or have i
misunderstood the rules?

Hi John, See the race points tab in the scoring system window.
Sailwave allows "shared" points for ties (as many clubs prefer) and
the ISAF standard "average" points for ties. In your scenario these
methods would give: 1, 2, 2, 4 and 1, 2.5, 2.5, 4 respectively.
