Prize Winners Table

Can anyone explain how the Prize Winners Table is calculated? I thought all I needed to do was score my series, then put the appropriate rules into the Prize Table boxes and I would automagically get the prizes for those particular categories. What tries to get published as a Prize Table doesn't match what I get when I score using those fields.

Hi Andy,

If you have a hunt back through the forum there are some post about this.

To overcome this I have written this Prize program for use with Sailwave which allows even more configuration and hopefully you will find it useful

Any problems with it just let me know and I’ll see what I can do

Sorry, initially off topic but may come back to topic once i know whats wanted to work out how to score it.

We are looking for a rewards you for sailing system, aimed at juniors…

so something like:

Helm Double Handed both <16 yrs - 12 pts

Crew DoubleHander Helm >16yrs 8pts

Helm single hander < 16 years 10 pts…

Aim being to reward participation rather than results…

Anyone got such a system…?

Can you attach the example series. That’s how
it is supposed to work yes. Jan also is having some problems.
Maybe it’s brokwn in some contexts.

Hi Colin,

I can’t get the prize table to work either.

Prize table gives two toppers as first and second, followed by the mirrors.

It should read the mirrors first and second, then a 4.7 followed by the toppers.

Prize table is set up as Eligible Competitors = All Competitors and Num = 7.

Okay, uploaded the .blw file from the series. It's called WesMex 2012 Optis.

If I score by fleet, I get the top "All Categories" and "Princapiantes" (Beginners). If I score by Division, I get top by Division, if I score by HelmSex, I get the top boys and girls.

However, if I just score by fleet, then put that same logic above into the Prize table, I don't get the same results.
