Hi George,
Apologies for the delay in responding been a bit busy.
Thanks for sending the file. Having taken a look at it, R1 & R2 seem to have a mixture of place results and finish times. If you double click in each results cell that has a question mark you will see this.
SN 80277 R1 & R2 shows the result as a Place finish with the Radio Button selection that comes up
SN 85060 R1 & R2 the same thing
SN 1234 R1 shows as a Place Finish wither Radio Button selection that comes up but greyed out is a an elapsed time value.

I have seen this occasionally happen when entering information to quickly and I am not watching what information I have entered at on the screen, i.e. I have pressed the return key to quickly and not actually looked at the screen and taken in what Sailwave is requiring at that point 
If you still are having problems then what I would need is copies of the finish sheets to help further is for the races in question.
