hi all,
my generic adobe air dev is progressing but veeeery slow. it’s hard
doing things properly - my real work is also taking a lot of time at
present.
i’ve decided to keep developing existing sailwave in parallel.
to that end i have just updated the price facility to use expressions.
however i’m also on the scrounge.
i desperately need a new boat - dart 18 - but with two children in uni
i’m broke.
he’s a good deal for a company/association:-
initial payment of £2.5k then £250 a year to have logo permanently on
sailwave website, in the software and on the results.
that also includes the new website.
can’t offer this as an exclusive deal, but i believe it’s a good one.
especially the results bit.
cheers,
colin j
Hi Colin ,
would you consider a larger annual fee and a smaller initial payment.?
You might remember me from a couple years ago - UKWA event at MSC .
I am full time with International Windsurfing Association (IWA) - i use Sailwave at many events around the globe; and encourage otherrs to use it ( most recently Albaria Club (Sicily)
My plan was to offer a pre-prepared set of event templates for windsurfing events - and they access them from the IWA website.
Just a thought at the moment - i would need to discus with the IWA Exec Committee.

Hi Ceri,
Sure, let me know what you have in mind. I can’t offer this as an
exclusive deal though for this sort of cash. The deal would include
permanent logo on the new website as well which will be far more user
orientated - online entry, results uploading etc - kind of a sailing
facebook.
