Looking at the rating file structure, to use personal handicaps it
seems to be necessary to have the class name include the person
sailing the boat (which is not worth it, just use manual handicap
entry) - or have I missed something?
However for progressive personal handicaps it would be useful to
track and control changes from Excel, generating an updated .csv
handicap file each week. So is having the class name include the
person sailing the boat the only way to do this?

Hi,
Progressive personal handicaps are not currently implemented; although they
are planned to be. Sailiwave does facilitate a race specific rating value
per competitor, but it currently has to be enter by hand. I am currently
collecting information detailing how clubs calculate PHs. A description of
yours would be useful too.
