It's been a year since there was a public release. My main focus in the
short term is going to be doing the minimum to Get Sailwave into a public
state. This means bug fixing, fixing massive uglies (like not being able to
manually update ratings) and writing help; especially how to understand the
latest versions having moved fomr 1.57.
if you have the time, please do let me know of all bugs that you're aware
of. Please include an example series of CSV file where possible.

Colin,
I'm glad to hear the plan to head towards a new Public release - I've been following the email list, but I haven't had time to try out anything less than stable so I'm still on 1.57. I'm looking forward to seeing what I've been reading about, but also a bit apprehensive that all the new features might take a lot of mental adjustment. As always, thanks for your effort and know that it is appreciated.

Hi Jay,
The releases to the SUG have gone up and back down a few blind allies in the
search for a decent solution to some things (in fact it's still happeneing)
and I would image reading it all could create the impression of a total
mess; but the end result should be OK.
I think the clue will be to try and ignore anything you've read...!
