Publish Competitor Notes

I( am using Sailwave version 2.17.0. I am using the “Publish -> Competitor list” to create score sheets for the Race Officer for each race in our weekly series. When I have multiple lines in the notes, I use a “newline” (Enter key on windows) to make line separators. That works fine for that session, but when I save the .blw, it appears that the “newlines” are removed from the notes and must be re-entered the next time I open the .blw and try to print the Competitors list. Is there a way to make the “newlines” permanent or is there a better way to create the score sheets?

Thanks,

Tom Owen

Hi Tom
When you say new lines in the notes which Note field are you talking about

Could you give a sample of what you would like?

The other possibility is to use the SWClist program that is installed with Sailwave you have 2 custom columns you can use

Jon,

Here are example .blw files. The Notes field is the one that displays when you select publish -> Competitors list. I get the same reaction for all of my .blw files (PHRF, Port with Spring, Summer, Fall series). I have not tried SWCLIst, but I would need 4 columns for Port since there are potentially 4 races each night

Thanks,

Tom

Will do. I thought that might be the case after I asked the question.
