Over this weekend I tried to publish to a website from a boat using a 3G dongle on a laptop. Each time I tried I got an error message, not able to connect. I was always able to browse websites and send/receive emails.
We have done this before without a problem, but not to this website.
Using the same laptop from a shore based broadband was no problem.
Any ideas?

We use this process and it works for us. Try setting "Use Passive Transfers" from the Global FTP menu.

Thanks, I'll try it. Using the same set up on land worked fine. Its a Vodafone dongle.
