Publish Results

Colin:
When publishing the results, the "Include these scored groups" list
is in alphbetical order. I would like to be able to change the order
and save the changed order. I want to publish the results in the
same order as the fleet starts.

At the end of the season, I send in my PHRF results for analysis. I
need to be able to export the results with elapsed times rather than
finish times. Can you please put this on your list of things to do.

I have done a preliminary check on 1.68 and all seems to work. I can
now put in more than 7 starts and it saves them.

Hi John,

and save the changed order. I want to publish the results in the
same order as the fleet starts.

You should find that you can use the button to the right of the list of
groups to change the order. It's a bit weird because of multi-select and
needs to be made better but it does work.

At the end of the season, I send in my PHRF results for analysis. I
need to be able to export the results with elapsed times rather than

Do you mean see elapsed times in the main table cells? (Which you can't do
now because you enter start/finish times).

I have done a preliminary check on 1.68 and all seems to work. I can
now put in more than 7 starts and it saves them.

Yes, sorry about that, simple mistabe on my part.

Regards,
Colin

Colin:

I know about the buttons to change the order of the fleets when I
publish, but it does not save them. If I want to do another print,
then I have to reorder them again, and the same for each race. I
have the same fleets in 22 races, I now have to change the order 22
times over the season. I would like to be able to save the changes
after the first printing.

I need to export the results to a file that contains all the boat
date and the Elapsed times. I don't think that this is possible now,
could it be added in the near future.

Hi Colin

When publishing race results for a General Handicap, competitors quite often cannot verify if the
results are correct because they only see the positions after corrected times etc.

I need a 'publish race' option which shows the boats in the order that they actually crossed the
line (not final race position order) along with the actual time & laps completed. This is much
easier for competitors to understand & identify if a mistake has been made.
As I use the multiple starts option for two 'fleets' (but one overall result) if the start info
could be added to the report, this would also ensure that we have set the boat up in the correct
'fleet'

At the moment I show this in a separate spreadsheet which takes some time to produce.
If you can include this in 1.75 I would be very grateful
(or tell me where it is in current versions ;-).....)

Regards
Ralph
