publishing a series summary table and individual race table

I have been publishing the individual race table for our weekly races for many years. This year the Fleet would also like to see both the series summary table and individual race table. We are utilizing a Word Press site and publish via the ‘a new post on your blog’ option. I Notice I can either sort by the individual race or by rank which puts the series summary table in order. The output is sorted accordingly leaving the individual race table or series summary out of order. I do not see an option to sort the out of order table in the Word Press. I can obtain the correct sorted results by publishing the sorted individual race separately, and then publishing the sorted Series summary table separately. This creates two posts in Word Press. My concern is if a race is re-scored, the series summery must be re - published when using two posts, with the possibility of the output being out of synch. The effect ‘tablesorter’ would solve this issue nicely but when using the ‘a new post on your blog option’ the effects selection box is grayed out and a effect can not be selected. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thank You,

George

Hi George - When you are publishing you can publish both the Summary and the individual race at the same time - you don’t have to publish them separately. You can even put an “L” in the just these races to only publish the most recent to save you changing it each time.

If you use the publish results option and then select the publish to a blog option, in there you can include the effects (Javascript) such as tablesorter but your blog must support the use of the javascript in this manner.
