Publishing and printing

I was looking at improving the appearance of the published results etc. as a refreshment of the results on our website. I selected a style redhead 2 from the list and published to my browser, no problem. Added Burgees etc

I then print previewed and printed but the red banner across the top disappeared. Printer is set for colour etc. Can anyone tell me where I have gone wrong?

Thanks

PJ

Hi Paul,

Assuming the preview was OK, look for a tickbox or setting that prints “background” colours.

Hi Paul,

I guessing the club is http://www.wmyc.org.uk I see you upload an htm file. So no need to Print. If you are not auto FTPing to the website, best options as upload happens direct from sailwave with 1 click, you can just publish “A file on my computer network” instead of “My Default internet browser” Only think to be aware of is the burgees need to located on a website and not on your local computer. eg https://www.wmyc.org.uk/wp-content/themes/wmyc/images/general/logo.jpg although a bit smaller ould be better. If you do want to print - I think the problem is probably is a Colin pointed out. Depending upon which browser you are using this will be slightly different.
If you want to publish the logos (Burgees) then as keith correct points out these need to be accessible on the web but they don’t have to be on your website. A free Imgur.com account allows you to upload images and these can be used for your logos and flags etc. So if you are publishing to the Sailwave results folder then store your burgees etc on the imgur.com site and they will work great… If you publish with the Publish- Results v2 these images/logos will be auto sized. Let us know how you get on.

Hi

Thanks everyone all sorted.

We use FTP protocol for the results to the website all the time and that is by far the easiest to do. I wanted to look at some different layouts and therefore was trying to print them to see how they come out. The answer from Colin worked straight away so all happy now.

Thanks again

PJ
