Publishing problem

Hi, I am totally perplexed as to why I am unable to publish our end of series ‘Summary Race Table’ properly to ‘My Default Internet Browser’ (I am using Chrome) or ‘The Sailwave Results Folder’ (https://www.sailwave.com/results/SESCA/Early%20Series%202019.htm), while I have no trouble publishing a page with ‘Individual Race Tables’. I am getting a page with all the correct header details, logos, title etc but no table of results. I successfully published a template ‘Summary Race Table’, earlier in the year, without any difficulty. Could anyone please enlighten me as to what I am doing wrong? Regards Mike

Hi Mike,

Sorry to hear you are having a problem publishing.

  Quick question - do you have the check box ticked alongside the

words “Publish a series summary table” on the left hand side of
the first publishing window?

  If you do could you please reply attaching a copy of the

Sailwave.BLW file that is having the publishing problem.

Hi Huw,

Thank you for your immediate reply. Yes, I have the box ticked and have selected ‘All races’.

I am sure that I must be doing something stupid. Should I be using ‘Results’ or ‘Results v2’?

Mike,

In the Score series dialogue box you have selected “Sort results by field after scoring” and set “Fleet” as the Sorting field. However you have no Fleets set in the boat data. Publish works if you deselect that tick box then Score Series. Either of the Results commands will work; I believe v2 equalises the size of logos on left and right of the output.

Mike,

In your scoring set-up (Score Series), you have the box ticked

‘Score results by field after scoring’, with scoring field Fleet in
as default, but you have no fleet defined.

Unchecking that box fixes the problem.
