Publishing results - can anyone explain this error message?

Hi all

I'm running version 2.5.3. When I try to publish results to my default browser I keep receiving the error message: 'ShellExecute() error code 31'.

I am able to publish as an html file and open this separately in my browser, but it's a very clunky way of doing it and clearly there is a better way if only I could work out how to solve it.

Any ideas gratefully welcomed.

thanks

Hi Richard,

Error 31 is because you have no application associated with the .htm / .html extension. You don’t say which OS you are using so its not possible to give you detailed instructions but if you open windows explorer (My computer) and double click on a file with either a .htm or . html extension it should open it in you default browser. I guess this doesn’t happen. So it is a problem with the configuration of your OS, its not a Sailwave issue.

Hope this helps

Jon
