publishing results with effect Highhightwins to a wordpress site

Hi,

I am trying to utilize the effect highlightwins 3v3. I just undated to 2.24. I am able to publish to my default browser and the highlighting works correctly. We have a wordpress site. When I publish to ‘a new post on your blog’ which generates a Wordpress post the highlighting does not function. It also would not work in 2.19.8. I can see the javascript in the post but doesn’t appear to be executing in word press. Our WordPress systems person also tried to embed the script in the word press header but it also did not highlight. Any suggestions as to how to implement highlighting in a wordpress web site would be appreciated. When it works correctly the presentation is striking.

Thank you,

George

Hi George,

Do you have a link to a sample test page where you have tried it?

I can see that someone tried to embed the script in the header but they have specified highlightwins3, not highlightwins3v3. Not that I’m saying that is the issue.

Also I notice on your site that you are not supplying a complete path to the venue and event burgee’s causing these to be displayed as text and not images

Perhaps you could give some details on how you are implementing it on a Wordpress site so that I can attempt to duplicate it.

Jon

hi Jon,

Thanks for replying to my message.

https://lscf.us/a-series-summary-div-1a-04-30-18/ is a link to a summary I published to our fleet web site which contains highlightwins3v3. The wordpress post titled a series summary div 1a 04/30/18 content which I pasted from Sailwave contains the highlightwins3v3 script.

I have asked our Wordpress person to update the wordpress header to 3v3. You are correct I did not have the full path to our flag logo. I have added the full path to our flag logo but still is not publishing the flag on output to my internet browser. I have not tried publishing to wordpress yet with the full path to the flag logo. I have struggled trying to publish our flag in the past with no success.

Do you have an email address that I could sent you my Savewave to wordpress procedures ?

Thank you,

George

Hi George

I’ll have a look - and see if I can see why it doesn’t work.

If you send me how you are publishing to jon@sailwave.com I can try setting up a Wordpress test site.

Perhaps we can then have a discussion by phone if you let me know when is a convenient time for you and I’ll give you a call or you can call me via Skype, WhatsApp or Facetime perhaps

As a test for publishing the flag - try putting https://www.sailwave.com/results/sailwave.gif

You should get the Sailwave logo

Regards

Jon
