We have been using Google Drive in a similar way that you are using drop box, works well as awayof providing a remote access.
As for publishing to websites, we just use the built in feature ‘publish’ FTP to a website, and then write a little bit of code to examine the file and integrate it in - see Results - Papercourt Sailing Club
(our website is WordPress so fairly simple to do - if there is ny demand for it I can wrap the code up as a plugin )
Hi Pete - You don’t say what type of web site you are running.
You can publish directly to a conventional website using ftp which is one of the options in the destination when you publish results. You can also publish to a file so you could publish to a subdirectory within Dropbox and then at some point your website manager would transfer these to the website. Or you can publish to an installed application. In this case you would write some relatively simple application that transfers the files to your website. This application will be called by Sailwave with a link to an html file containing the results that you want to publish. Your website manager could probably write this for you, if not let us know and we will help.
