My sailwave locks up when trying to publish to the sailwave web site (Not Responding).
I get the ‘connection to sailwave.com to write [filename] established. Click OK to continue…’ screen
I click OK however it lockes up and doesn’t do anything.

Welcome to the Sailwave User Group forum.
Something to try. Go to Set-up | Global options and click the FTP. At the bottom of the window is a box labelled ‘Use passive transfers…’
If the box is unchecked then check it (as shown in screen grab below) and try publishing again.

- The story of my life lately. I started answering this and then got interrupted but Huw’s post. Just prompted me. Huws suggestion is the best one but it shouldn’t lock up. It will time out. It might take two to three minutes. Also there was a complete thread on the user group here if you search for error zero
