Is there a PY (or equivalent) rating for the Zoom 8 dinghy? Its a European dinghy - any in the UK? There is one in South Africa and the owner is asking about this.

I have searched the Internet and so far have come up blank for a rating value. All results I have found have been Zoom8 fleet racing.

Having looked at the Zoom8 spec 44kg hull weight and 4.9sqm sail, this is similar to the RS Tera Sport & RS Tera Pro dinghy here in UK. Both use same hull and have hull weight 43kg; the Sport has 3.7sqm sail with PRO a 4.8sqm sail. The RYA provide ratings of Sport 1145 and Pro 1364. This information might help give an initial rating to use for Zoom8.
