Race Office and duty team Scoring Codes

Hi

I am passing the Duty team members into the race scoring as the club in question appoints average points for those Helms that do their duty on that Race Date.

From their SI’s Average is defined as :

( “Average” in both cases shall be the average of the sum of points for races where the competitor has started the race but
not necessarily finished. )

As I am only setting up an ‘RO’ Method and the ARO and SB methods are scored using RO, which of the average methods should I use and which properties should be set ?

I assigned ‘Average of ( sum of points for non DNC races) + N’ but this produced larger than expected averages over the series ?

Hi Ian,

  I have looked at the Sailwave file you sent me [Thursday Series]

and have made some minor changes which currently do not understand
why they work but they appear to.

  I have set the codes RO, ARO & SB individually and not like

another code; also set the properties to be consistent.

Perhaps something to debug at some point but will pass through same settings for all codes concerned in the meantime
