Race Resutls .csv file

Does anyone have an example of a race results input .csv file for weeknight PHRF racing

(i.e. multiple starts with multiple classes and fleets) that they are willing to share with me?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Brian,

Could you please explain a bit more about your requirement and the

reason for using a CSV file for input?

Some additional information on importing race results can be found

on the Sailwave web
site[].
Kind regards,
Huw

The file is to be generated from an Android Tablet App that I am building to help the Committee boat capture results as the boats cross the line...i.e. When you blow the horn, press a button the the tablet....less data entry for me when the committee boat comes in after the race.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for the information. I hope the information I sent in

previous reply will help you.

I am aware of several apps that do something similar to your

outline. At least one even sounds horns using a Bluetooth link.

All the best in your development.

While it's too late to save me the pain already experienced, do you have a link to these apps? I'm not building anything commercial, just something to ease my scoring pain. PS the horn interface is a neat ideam

Hi Brian,

As requested a list of the Android apps I have found so far:

I have not used any of these but I do intend to have a look at them. If you do decide to try any of them I would be interested in hearing your views.

Kind regards,

Huw

As far as I am aware the Autohoot App doesn’t work.
I tried it a couple of years ago, and found that its development
had come to a halt when the designer moved on to another business.
