Have just been caught out using a legacy series (when our club's SI's stated that A7 was not used - tied race results score points equal to divided sum of places, but tied place value used as points score) in a series where standard Appendix A was used. Because I did not have 'Use non-standard race tie options' ticked in the User Interface, I did not see that the legacy file's race scoring system had Race ties set to 'shared points'. Oops
Let this be a warning, etc.!

I think the idea was that property bar on the left
(if diplayed) showed what was actually being used regardless of the UI
setting - but I’m very good a letting the propery bar fall behind the
coalface! - Actually perahs lines in the property bar that represent
items that are not available via the UI could be a different colour or
somthing…
