re: race weight problems
currently the implementation multiples in a low point context and divides in
a high point context. this is so that you can swap between high and low
point systems and get sensible results. presumably the problem is that if
always using a high point system and you're *expecting* a multiplication by
the weight, you get a surprise. is that a correct diagnosis of the problem
reported previously?
