Rating change mid-series

Here’s an interesting problem that I don’t think I’ve bumped into before:
We have a four week PHRF series on Wednesday nights. A boat changed its rating after R2. So when we rescore, R1 and F2 will get the new rating rather than where they were before. I don’t think SW has the concept of freezing a score.

I suppose a workaround would be to export the scores after R2, then carry on with the new races, then import (or manually change) the scores for the particular boat.

Any other suggestions?

There is no way to freeze a score, but you can assign a rating to individual races as shown below:

This might solve your issue. Also, Jon created a new effect called RatingShows that will display the rating below the sailor’s score.
