Rating to win

            I have put in results using custom rating System, c=e*r/100.
The results come out right but when I go to get rating needed to win, the
program just gives me 0 for all boats. An I not inputting enough data?

Hi Patricia,

If you're using the cusom rating system and require rating needed to win and
elapsed needed (to be lost) to win, you must enter expression for e and r as
well. (I think the tool tips say this.) Sailwave cannot do the algebraic
juggling itself. i.e. in your case e is 100*c/r and r is 100*c/e.

Note however that your formula is the one used for USSA portsmouth and VYC,
so you could just one of those instead and not bother with the custom
system. Hover the mouse over the rating system to see the equations they
use.
