I downloaded my schrs ratings file and placed
in ..\ProgFiles\Sailwave. I open SW and push the <Ratings Files>
button but nothing happens. I do not see any special "Ratings" folder
mentioned in some emails.
What am I doing wrong?

Yiannos. If you do not have a c:\program files\sailwave\ratings folder,
create it by hand and put the schrs file in there (and remove it from the
Sailwave folder). All should be OK then. CJ

Colin, thanks for your speedy reply.
Indeed I did not have a folder - I made one. Now when I press the
button, the folder opens showing me the file. When select the file,
it opens in Excel. Is this std behaviour? - Shouldn't I be able to
select a class in my "Edit Competitors" dialog? Should I 'import' the
file somehow - if so, how?\
Thanks again.

Yiannos.
Once you have some rating files in Sailwave/Ratings you should be able to
select classes/ratings contained from these files from Edit+Competitor (the
class/rating drop down lists) - note however that you will only see those
classes/rating-values corresponding to the rating system you have chosen
from Edit+ScoringSystem.
The Tools menu just gives you access to the rating files if you need to edit
them and allows you to automatically set competitor rating values if their
class has been set up correctly (in Edit+Competitor) - i.e. if it matches
the a class in a rating file.
SO in summary if a SCHRS file is in place and you have selected SCHRS (SCR)
as the rating system, the class/rating-values should be available from drop
down boxes in Edit+Competitor.
Does that help....?
Regards,
Colin J
