Just checked things out. I sent to Colin on the 3rd & 8th March copies of
the ratings files in CSV format containing the 2005 RYA PN values for
Cruiser, Dinghies, Keelboats and Multihulls. For reference I
have attached
all 4 files again, together with 3 files of PN ratings for classes not
listed in the current RYA PR2 that I have 'determined'/acquired over the
last couple of years.

However, Ralph's comments below made check the Dinghies file and I found
that whilst I had 3 ratings in for a Mirror the text did not differentiate
between them, i.e. 2 person + spinnaker, 1-person + spinnaker, 1-person no
spinnaker :frowning:

The attached file corrects that omission. Colin perhaps it might be
possible to revise the format of the ratings file so that all the
information contained in the RYA PN spreadsheet can be included. I
understand that this might not be possible as the ratings file
format has to
cover other rating systems as well. An example might be that the first 3
columns are Sailwave specific as now, i.e. Rating Type, Class,
Rating Value,
Wind Indexed Ratings; with anything after that ignored by Sailwave.

Whilst trying to respond to a SUG query re Spinnakers, I was
checking my own
ratings files & find
that I had the wrong PY for the Mirrors.
I had 1372 as the PY for a d/h 2/sail which is obviously wrong as
it is less
than the 3/sail PY
1372 is the PY for a SINGLE-HANDED 2 sail

I know that I got into a bit of a mess when I circulated an
advanced copy of
2005 PYs to Huw so I
thought I would check what was on the SW web site. Are you aware that the
site only shows 2004 files
available for download???

Also, I seem to remember that Huw circulated a correct set of PYs & I
thought I had used those
files.
If that was the case, were your files correct Huw?

Sorry to possibly cry wolf but presume the omission of 2005 for
download is
an oversight?
If you make them available Colin, you may wish to check the Mirror PYs
