I have pointed my program to a different ratings folder, containing the appropriate VY ratins file as a .csv.
This file has the same information in it, but on scoring the series, I find many competitors (but not all) need reallocating to the ratings database.
Even more wierd is that when I do reallocate and the program saves this, it is able to score the series, but on exiting and re-opening sailwave, those previously lost, but reallocated and accepted ratings are lost again.
Any ideas?
I think I have cracked it!
I used TCF for our recent regatta and had my VY files and TCF files in the same folder.
Tell me if I am wrong, but it seems that sailwave was looking for the ratings in all the files (TCF and VY) in that folder. There would have been duplicates and I think that ‘confused’ the program.
I have renamed the TCF files and now the ratings seem to hold.
