re - Linux test V2.10

Jon,

I downloaded the latest version this evening - was expecting 2.10.2 but got 2.10.3. Seems to work OK (Publish not functioning), but get a crash after opening and editing a second series with the first one still open. The first version stays active.

Hi Malcom,

Yes I updated it to 2.10.3 fix the Edit race issue which Huw reported. Thanks for the testing. When you say Publishing not functioning - what do you mean. I have now set up an Ubuntu 13.04 with Wine 1.4 and the publishing works fine for me. I did also open 2 copies of the same file and didn’t get any crash. Although Its personally something that I try to avoid - I try to only have one Sailwave open at a time as it can get confusing and lead to mistakes.

Jon,

If I click Publish, that button goes blue, but no window opens with the Publish options. This is with a new series and with an existing series.

Ji Malcolm & Jon,

Just done a quick initial run through with Sailwave 2-10-3 and the

problem I was having with Edit Race appears to be fixed.

I have not tried your exact scenario of a new series and publishing,

but will do so later. However publishing works for me using an
existing series. I also tried having two series open and in the
short amount of time I was testing did not have a crash. But will do
more extensive testing later.

Just a reminder of my environment is Linux Mint 13 (Maya) AMD 64bit

with Wine1.5.30.

Kind regards,
Huw
