Jon,

My tests with 2.10.1 show an improvement in stability.

Creating a new series works and I could add competitors and enter data. However it crashed when I right clicked to Edit Race (divide by zero error). This also happens going via Edit to edit a race.

Opening an existing series works, I could add a race, add or delete competitors and re score, but Publish was non functional. Similar to the above, it crashed with Edit Race.
(Ubuntu 13.04, Wine 1.4.1)

Thanks for your testing

I’ve updated the link now to point to Version 2.10.2

Sailwave 2.10.2 which I think should now be good. Huw has also kindly done some testing and I’ve now installed Ubuntu 13.04 and Wine 1.4 in a VM and 2.10.2 seems to work OK - Neither Huw or I have crashed it yet.

So hopefully will use this version for future development - please let me know if you find any issues in any OS but hopefully you wont

Hi Jon et al,

I have just tried Sailwave2.10.2 under openSUSE 12.1 with Wine 1.5.3

and so far I have not had any problems. This is in addition to the
test I did last night under Linux Mint 13 (Maya) AMD 64bit with Wine
1.5.30 which also so far has not shown any problems.

Jon et al,

Additional information regarding the openSUSE environment test the

default windows version was Windows XP.

Jon et al,

Have done some further testing with Linux Mint 13 (Maya) Wine 1.5.30

and have crashed Sailwave2.10.2.

I right-clicked in a race column heading and selected Edit Race and

unfortunately up popped window with message ‘…sailwave.exe has
encountered a problem…’.

Jon knows and when can will take a look.

Haven't found any problems under Vista yet.
