Resizable filter screen for race start editing?

Ran into a pain in the rear today when trying to set up some filters for race starts. I have several aliased competitors, due to the need to calculate scratch, ECHO and IRC for some boats (from a single race). The fleet names have the type of scoring in the name (which may not be the best way). When I go to build the filters for the starts, I can’t tell which fleet is which, I just see the prefix.

Can this part of the UI be made resizable, with the dropdowns adjusting to the max width of the widest string? Or perhaps change to a typeahead (easy in web stuff, not sure about Windows)?

Of course, if there’s a better way to do this, I’m all ears

Hi - If you click the dropdown arrow and then start typing it will match what you type.

Once you have selected it the tooltip displays the full text when you hover over it.

Does this help - Jon
