Hi guys
Some help please- Just sent loads of race results successfully to the RYA then one would not load it came up with this
" XML error: Start tag expected, ‘<’ not found "
I could not find any reference on the FAQ or anywhere else Can anyone advise what I need to correct please
Regards
Trevor
Hi Trevor,
The RYA server doesn’t like some of the less common characters - so try and avoid using the “&” “<” and “>” in any of your data
Try using “and” in place of “&” in any of your fields - If you still have an issue if you email me the file I’ll have a look
Jon

Hi Trevor,
Could you try with the latest (well at least latest released version I’m working on 2.20 at the moment) https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/220425/sailwave.exe 2.19.15
I works for me using the latest version. This is just the exe so download this and replace the sailwave.exe in the program files (x86) directory.
Let me know how it goes
Regards
Jon

Hi Jon
Sorry I couldn’t sort your suggestion but I had a thought to try uploading from Sailwave Plugin instead importing from the RYA web page and it showed I hadn’t entered the class configuration for the Devoti D Zero after I had done that the plug in worked ok and loaded the race up to the RYA.
To check I then deleted it from the RYA page and tried to import it again and it still failed so I went back to the Sailwave plug in and it was successful again, so I still dont know what causing the error. But job done till next time.
Thanks for your help
Regards
Trevor
