Perhaps my question was not written clearly by me, as far as I can see I can only enter results by sail number as in F12 although it says otherwise. I know I can score by helm but how can I enter by helm`s name?
I am dealing with a series in the same class/PN but the helm is sailing different sail different numbered boats,

Yes. Malcolm has already pointed out my error; my apologies; see my response
to him. When you say "although it says otherwise" what do you mean; I need
to tweak something if it's causing confusion.
