Does
anyone know whether there is a way to retain all the boats from a previous
series (EG Summer Series), yet not show them as entered into the current series
(EG Winter Series) as an entrant until they enter a race. My scoring method
scores a DNC as Total Boats Entered In Series (TBEIS) +1. At present all boats are scored DNC unless
they race, and for purposes of Series scores the Total Boats Entered In Series (TBEIS)
number includes boats which are just DNC i.e. have not raced in the series. I cannot see how to get TBEIS correct unless
I delete them all until they race, when I have to enter all their details
again! I was looking for a box in boat
details which said “entered in series” but there is not one that I can find!

What you want is "exclude" meaning that the boat is excluded from the
series (in other words, not included when scoring). It is on the top
line, right-hand side for each boat on the details screen.
Also, under "Edit" you can "Mark all unsailed competitors as excluded"
at the beginning of your new series.
