I think it's a bug. I had checked or unchecked the strike through
formating button. Neither the sail wave spreadsheet or the publish
HTML indicate which race is tossed for the discard (stikethough or
brackets... even though the nett calclulation is correct. (no
problems with a low point scoring scheme.)
see sailor two in this Chipstead file... (my mistake... not Rinderlee
scoring. 5 sailed... keeping 4.

RE 24 hour or 12 hour time... Am I crazy or once upon a time you
did select this in the setup? I just don't want proof that I am
getting old..
Thanks
Mark
Mark,
answer last part first - there is no option for setting 12 & 24
hour format
all times are presumed to be 24-clock; Note - that if you enter a
start time
of say 140000 and then enter the finish time as 043921(meaning
163921)
Sailwave assumes that the race elapsed time is 143921 , i.e. the
race has
gone through midnight!
Regards to discard formatting and scoring codes formatting have you
checked
what is set in global options. I seem to recall that strike through
is not
set by default. I prefer to use brackets rather than strike through
as it is
much easier to see if a 4, 8 or 9 are being discarded.
Kind regards,
Huw

Subject: [sailwave] Rinderlee high point Discard formating ?
Sorry if this is a repeat question. I seem to remember the
question
but can't find the post with the search.
I can't get the formating of discards to work in Rinderlee High
Point
scoring. We want 4 regattas to count out of 10 possible events.
The
NETT calculation is correct but the Discard score is not struck
through
or bracketed as before (last year's version).
The discard formating works fine for a normal regatta.
Bug or oversight on my part??
Also... Anybody know where the 12 hour or 24 hour time format
setting
button is now hiding. Could not find it to save my A%% this
weekend.
