Dear friends,
We are Nautical Club of Thessalonica, one of the biggest nautical
clubs in Greece, with both sailing and rowing departments. We would
kindly ask your help about the following issue
we use in Greece an alteration to RRS A 8.2 (Tie-Break rule) as
following;
"When a tie in the series points between two or more boats after
application of RRS A 8.1 still remains, it will be broken in favor of
the boat with the best score in the first race in which the tied
boats raced and scored differently".
The question is whether we could use the above alteration or not in
Sailwave and how, or if we could use a new scoring system including
this alteration.
We would be very grateful if you could answer to the above question
as soon as possible,
Kind regards,
N.C.Th Secretary
Hi,
That particular rule would have to be added as a feature. It an easy job
and could done fairly quickly; probably by next weekend. Please let me know
if you would like me to proceed.

PS: I think's it's also time to remove the redundant old 8.2 (who beat who
the most) - is anybody our there still using it...?

Dear Colin,
Thank you very much for your quick answer. We confirm that we would
like to add as a feature the particular rule. Please let us now when
will be ready and what we have to do to use the new version.
