Iam glad to join your group. My name is Yiannis Papazoglou and I will
be the race officer in the RSX european championship in Cyprus next June.
I am trying to get familiar with sailwave assining groups and working with
flights. The problem that I am facing is that after some races the program
uses half points.
CAn you help me with this

If you do decide you would like me to take a look at the work you have done, it would be useful to also have the Sailing Instructions and/or Notice of Race especially the part that documents how flights/groups will be determined.

I’ll leave it to experts such as Huw Pearce to provide a detailed answer to your query, but a quick comment is that Sailwave generally allocates point fractions in cases where position ties are encountered. This may be correct or incorrect, depending on the situation.
e.g. a position tie may be incorrect due to incorrect results entry, or it may be correct where handicaps arrive at the same corrected time.
